Ripples in the Sand

Ripples in the Sand, by David Marlatt, is a tranquil, peaceful piece that uses a pentatonic scale throughout. Besides rehearsing the piece itself, we had fun with some improvisational “noodling” using that pentatonic scale, which you will hear at the beginning of the video, with the title screens.
